Flaxeed Oil

Extracted from selected flaxseed varieties known to contain high concentration of alpha-linolenic acid, AlphaLite oil is cold pressed in pristine condition and double filtered. Adequate amount of natural antioxidant, Vitamin E is added to ensure its stability, utilization and optimum assimilation of Omega 3 fatty acid in human body. Oil is then bottled under nitrogen in opaque bottles. The entire process is carried out in an FDA approved facility under stringent quality control measures.

 Nutritional Profile

Alphalite oil contains 55 % of essential Omega 3 Alpha Linolenic acid with an optimal omega 6: omega 3 ratio of 1.3:3.It is also a good source of antioxidant Tocopherol (Vitamin E).

 Applications
1) Pickles and Preserves :
  Alphalite oil is a healthy option for pickled products and cold processed preserves. It can be used as a seasoning oil for Indian pickles and western preserves.
                  
2) Pediatric Nutritional Formulations :
  Infants have the highest requirement for Omega 3 fats for optimum physical and mental development. Alphalite oil can serve as a source of Omega 3 in commercially produced pediatric nutritional supplements.
   
3) Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition :
  Omega 3 fats are of vital importance for both enteral and parenteral routes of nutrition. Several scientific studies report that enteral and parenteral formulas with omega 3 fats support immune building, decrease hyper-inflammatory response and aids in faster recovery from infection. Alphalite oil is a viable vegetarian option for incorporation in both types of feeding supplements.
   
4) Base Oil for Capsules :
